Michelle helping out with the set-up at the TUC “Fall Splash”

Trout Unlimited Canada National Conservation Dinner & Auction and TUC Bow River Chapter “Fall Splash” Conservation Banquet & Auction: We provide product for the silent auctions and assist with the day-of set up.

Bow River Shuttles Used Drift Boat Sale: Organized in cooperation with, and in conjunction with, the TUC Bow River Chapter’s annual Tackle Swap.

Calgary Hook & Hackle Club: We support the club’s activities by providing product for their annual spring auction fundraiser.
This club provides much sought after boxes of flies for TUC fundraisers, promotes fly tying by providing volunteer tyers for local fly fishing and outdoor trade shows, and provides club members with lessons in tying.

The Stimulator: A periodic e-newsletter covering items of interest to fly fishers of the Bow River. You will enjoy reading current information related to fly fishing on the Bow River as well as items on riparian habitat, wetland and watershed issues.

River Reports: E-reports of fishing conditions on the Bow River. Information on which flys are working, what types of fish are being boated, hatch activity and water clarity is provided by clients floating the Bow River. You can enjoy fishing vicariously when you can’t get out yourself, and you can plan for your next outing.

Social Media: My Bow River Shuttles Blog, Bow River Shuttles Twitter and Bow River Shuttles Facebook Page are now where you will find the most up-to-date news. You’ll find items on the Bow River, fly fishing on the Bow River, the local fly fishing community and fly fishing generally, as well as environmental & conservation concerns, especially those related to water issues.

Used Drift Boats & Pontoon Boats for Sale: A complimentary listing service in “The Stimulator” for anyone selling their boat. You can gain wide exposure in the Bow River fly fishing community for your used boat.

Blue Ribbon Bow River Cleanup: This annual fall event takes place as part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. We encourage and work with volunteers from the fly fishing community to devote part of one day to picking up garbage along the “Blue Ribbon” stretch of the Bow River, from the Glenmore Trail/Graves Landing boat launch to Carseland. Both walk & wade and floating participants are welcome.

Back Cast Fly Fishing Film Festival: This annual mid-winter celebration of fly fishing will send you home more excited about our sport than when you arrived! In 2014, net proceeds benefited the Canadian National Youth Fly Fishing Team.

Today along the Bow River (photo collection): Each day, as we move in and out of the boat launches along the Bow River, we keep our eyes open for interesting images. We share that collection in our River Reports, as well as on our social media sites.
